La Rioja's The wine interpretation Centre

The Wine Interpretation Centre of La Rioja is located at the Haro Oenological Station and offers visitors a virtual tour of the world of grape growing and winemaking, sharing with visitors this land’s viticultural heritage and the know-how of its growers and winemakers —creators of the best wines in the world.

The Centre offers three floors of panels, video clips, exhibitions and interactive computer supports that explain in an entertaining way the process of making wine and the factors that influence its quality. The Centre aims to showcase each and every aspect of an industry that holds no secrets for this land —from grape growing to bottling, including the quality requirements demanded of Rioja Wine. The visit also provides information on the main aspects of winetasting. The Centre offers audioguides to make the visit in English, French and German.
